The Brands meeting in October promises to be interesting – we’re going to be
supporting the Formula Ford festival, which is one of the best attended
meetings of the year. There’s even a chance that the race might be
televised!

There are no announced changes to the Monoposto calendar except that the
first (non-championship) race on March 5th has been cancelled.

Mary and I went to the Autosport show yesterday, and had lots of fun eyeing
up expensive toys and replacing a few worn-out bits of kit. I had a very
nice surprise at the show. The BRSCC were giving away a leaflet entitled “So
You Want To Go Motor Racing?” with my car as the picture on the front :-)

2005 Racing Calendar

As next year, I’m planning on going to all of the Formula Jedi events and
one or two of the Monoposto events.

Both series are definitely “on the up” – Formula Jedi will be racing on the
Grand Prix version of the Brands Hatch circuit, and Monoposto on the Grand
Prix version of the Silverstone circuit. It’s very rare indeed for club
racers to get a chance to drive either of these circuits :-)
